Lee Lappage
Founder & Software Engineer
Hey, I'm Lee - founder of Zelly. I've got a strong background in modern web development and I build every site from the ground up, writing clean, performant code that loads fast and ranks well. When I'm not writing code, you'll probably find me 3D printing or playing chess.
Charlotte Lightly
Frontend Engineer
Charlotte's got a keen eye for detail and a real talent for turning designs into pixel-perfect reality. She works across the full stack, making sure every interaction feels smooth and every page looks spot on - whatever the device. When she's not building websites, she's probably curled up with a book or out walking Luna.

Head of Morale
Luna is our 6-year-old cockapoo and the undisputed office manager. She oversees all sofa-based operations, sighs loudly during deployments, and has never once met a deadline. When she's not trying to negotiate her second breakfast, you can find her snoring in the background of every client call.
Our story
Why we started Zelly.
It all started when a friend came to me for help - they'd just launched their own business and were quoted thousands by an agency for a modern website. At the time I was still fairly new to writing code and keen to get as much real-world practice as I could, so I jumped at the chance. One project quickly led to another, and it soon turned into a genuine love for helping small businesses grow online - and a realisation that the people who needed it most were being priced out.
I knew there had to be a better way - and between Charlotte and me, we had the skills to make it happen. That's why we launched Zelly. Instead of a huge invoice up front, we designed it around a straightforward monthly subscription starting at just £25 a month. No deposits, no lock-in, no surprise fees. Most companies charge that for hosting alone, on top of their £5,000 build fee.
